To be fair, Liverpool hadn't really created much, loads of possession but no end product.

Chelsea had been slowly getting into the game before the goal, the Liverpool defence starting to show its normal weaknesses.

liverpool do miss a focal point for their attacks imo

they look at times to run out of ideas about what to do with all the possession they have

game setup perfectly for chelsea now, can sit deep, not worry about being hit on the counter attack and expose the liverpool defence on the counter attack themselves

liverpool back in it, bit of a scrappy goal, would be good for the whole league if they can win this

Wijnaldum with a good header.
:salute
I like the BT sport commentary. Howard Webb adds a lot to it. It's amazing how many former footballers don't know the rules of football.
Mignolet saved a Diego Costa penalty!

for me they are too far behind to challenge chelsea but will be very happy with tottenham, arsenal and liverpool dropping points as far their chances for the top 4

A very good evening for Chelsea. Arsenal really need to beat them this weekend, and they might, knowing Arsenal.
