The West Ham player's red card has been overturned.

Spurs leading at half time.

This might make the season more interesting if it stays like this.

I'd suggest that Spurs can go places with this formation. I did wonder what they'd do once Toby was fit again, in terms of Dier, Wanyama and Dembele. Leaving one of them out each week would be harsh. Playing all three in midfield would be rather defensive. But by keeping Dier in the defence, as part of a back three, both FBs have freedom to get forward (and they are the best FB pairing in the league, even if Rose is a dirty so and so). Throw in the fact that there's little need for Eriksen or Alli to help out defensively, and things look good. Another tactically astute manager (but then I've said that about Poch since his days with us).

(Having the latter two back on form is a of course a great help too. Arguably been the best two players in the PL in recent weeks, including tonight.)

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.

Indeed.

Never underestimate how smart it is to copy the most successful teams around you..... because lets face it, he copied Conte, right? Not that this should be something that bad, all good systems get copied.

Be interesting to see if Conte sets the 3 man system in motion here. Its been about 5 years in Italy that this formation has been popular. I wonder if 3-4-2-1 will be the new 4-3-3/4-5-1.

Harry Kane just had a match that few will ever be able to replicate. Utterly destructive!!

At what point does the world transfer record get broken to bring him to a proper European challenger? He really is mentally good in my opinion. As long as Spurs dont make him play 60 times a year like they do.

the ref won't be happy.

From what I remember, teams in the NFL have to have a white shirt, as well as their chosen coloured one. Common sense.

Good goal. At half time Chelsea are 1-0 up.

Make that 2-0. Pedro makes it three.

Despite their hiccup against Tottenham I am sure a lot of folks will agree with me that Chelsea are still favourites this season.

I'm confused which team is which because Leicester are playing in Chelsea's home kit and Chelsea are playing in Leicester's away kit from last season.

Chelsea making a Champions statement this evening, after their winning streak ended last time out they produce a commanding performance to get back on track.

I might just be goal difference separating the Manchester clubs this evening.

2nd to 6th is so tight at present.

Going to be 2 very upset teams by the end of the season.

Also worth remembering Bravo cost City 17 mil. Certainly at fault for another goal today, very poor positioning for the second goal.

Another good day for my mate Pep.

(What's quite galling though, is that you just know that City will spend £100s of millions to turn things around, and eventually Pep will win things with them because of it. And this start will all be airbrushed into history, and the supposed greatest manager in the world will continue to reign. When actually, he pretty much deserves to be sacked)
