Italy vs Germany then. I'm not going to predict that one either.

IMHO, the only team that can stop Germany is Italy....

Germany have never beaten Italy in a major championships. Italy looked very good today against Spain.

Anyone else think we should still play Rooney in midfield.

Hate to say I told you so....

They were all utter shite, you can't single out Rooney.

Plus you were praising him in previous matches!

I have made two comments about Rooney in this tournament. One was to correct myself at the fact he missed two good chances against Russia, and not one as I had previously commented.... the other that the shot straight at the keeper was hardly a sitter, and that he hadnt done anything wrong against Russia. So one game against arguably the worst team in the tournament.

Id hardly qualify it as "praise" and it certainly didnt relate to more than one game.

Wales, Wales, bloody Wales.

A few years ago they could only get a crowd of 7,500 at a home qualifying game, and rugby was the only game anyone was interested in. Suddenly they get a bit of a run going in the Euros, mainly down to lucky scheduling of games, and all and sundry is coming out the woodwork to jump on the bandwagon.

I hope they get stuffed tomorrow.
