Our game is called off again. Third game in a row.

On the plus side it means we'll be unbeaten for four weks in the league.

Great start to the new year with a 3-0 defeat to Gillingham. That said Bradford historically don't often win in the 1st game of a new calendar year, Preistfield is not a happy hunting ground City and often get comprehensively beat a match before a cup game.

Can't see Gillingham falling outside the playoff places. Top 6 is starting to look after itself and at most only three teams outside it look capable of mounting a later season charge.

Who will finish in the top 2 is quite interesting though, Burton and Walsall have made fantastic managerial replacements in Clough and O'Driscoll. Coventry have been consistent from Matchday 1, Wigan are starting to gel. Peterborough have surprised me the most, I expected Graham Westley to be anti-football but they are scoring goals like it's out of fashion.

Excellent game between Gillingham and Wigan tonight. Gillingham finding themselves 2-0 up (after Wigan missed 2 gilt edged chances), then Wigan launched a comeback with Max Power unleashing a 30 yard piledriver which was too hot for Stuart Nelson to handle. Then Wigan complete a remarkable comeback as Craig Morgan heads home a winner from a corner, almost Ben Watson FA Cup final style.

If I was Darren Ferguson, next weeks tranining schedule for Doncaster Rovers will mostly consist of set pieces. Gillingham just look hopeless at defending them.

The Gills have always done well when they've had a solid defence. This is a young side with a lot to learn and they go from a few clean sheets to conceding quite a lot. They need a bit more consistency at the back to maintain a challenge for promotion. Hopefully they will hold on to Bradley Dack.

I've seen the goals AP - good summary about both the game and the league generally. We'll need at least 30 points from 20 games left to get a play off place.

All the best in the FA Cup!

Gillingham squander a 2 goal lead away from home in successive matches - a draw this time. They may rue that at the end of the season. Need to learn how to kill games off.

Good win for Burton away at Coventry in a top of the table clash.

Channel 5 have decided to change the highlights show by doing two separate programmes - 1hr dedicated to the Championship, 30 minutes to League 1 and 2. How on earth is it possible to produce fair coverage for 48 league teams in such a sport space of time?

Gills back at the top after coming from behind against the Posh. Surprise defeat at home for Burton. Tight at the top but well clear of those chasing the play offs.

Footage of some pretty vociferous protesting outside The Valley knocking about on Twitter tonight.
"It has been said of the unseen army of the dead, on their everlasting march, that when they are passing a rural cricket ground the Englishman falls out of the ranks for a moment to look over the gate and smile."
