Surprises me that today was the first time the Cardiff have beaten Bolton since 1970.

Gutted for you!

Cashed out for 70 mms in when it was clear they couldn't score if given twenty hours. Was a fraction of the final win, but enough for a couple of pints

I guess how many times they've actually played each other since 1970 is an important factor, might have mostly been in different divisions until recently, I don't know.

We're in breach of FFP too and liable to a hefty fine. I guess now we're in the premier league and not the football league transfer embargoes and points deductions won't apply but I might be wrong.

It seems that the FFP breach is a gamble that a lot of clubs are prepared to take to get promotion. Out of the promoted clubs from the previous season Leicester made a loss of 34 million and QPR 65 million, and I guess both were massively fined as a result. The fine can then be absorbed by the riches handed out in the Premier League. Obviously issues arise when clubs fail to get promotion and have to absorb the fine/losses from the meagre pickings of the Championship.

A number of games have been postponed because of the bad weather....

Ours has.

Although we've had heavy rain for the past 24 hours on and off, I wouldn't have thought it was that bad. Then again I haven't seen the pitch so it could have taken a fair bit of water.

Not surprised with some areas receiving a months rainfall in one day, prior to that the ground has been saturated for the last 2 or so months with a lack of drying out weather.

No team in the top 4 divisions in England have kept more lge clean-sheets than Derby & Middlesbrough (13 each)

I see the owner of Leeds United is refusing to let the Sky cameras in to televise their game tonight.

Game to be televised as scheduled

If Cellino thinks the Football League's commercial interests are hampering Leeds United, then they should not be in receipent of any football league revenue.

After a bit of a blip 3 wins on the bounce leave the Gills in 3rd place going into the New Year. Pretty much unexpected at the start of the season, hope they can at least remain in a play-off place.
