Spurs now need maximum points from their last 3 games, starting with an away trip to Stamford Bridge tomorrow without Dele Alli.

I haven't seen anything this season to tell me that Klopp is a significant improvement on Brendan Rodgers. I think Rodgers got a raw deal...he did well to get Liverpool into the Champions League, and had a bad season following that because of it. Well, let's see if Klopp does any better next season....

It seems that he's given up on the idea of a Europa League place. Instead, he's trying for Champions League or bust.

And he's undermined the confidence of Daniel Sturridge, who had a pretty good goal-scoring record before Klopp came in as manager. In the summer, I think Sturridge would be better served to leave Liverpool. Maybe Man Utd can pursue him, to replace Danny Welbeck. LVG's never really replaced Welbeck...I mean, the thought that Memphis Depay would be better than Welbeck!
:facepalm

Sturridge, the guy who has been injured for most of the season. And then he did not get back into the team due to the form of Origi. Also cant help but think that Klopp has not started Sturridge in every game due to his injury record. Bringing him back gradually as he was out injured for a very long time. Easing him back into the team and not risking him getting another injury.

Also Liverpool are in the Semi Finals of the Eufa cup, thats a pretty big achievement and Klopp should be given credit for that.

With Sturridges injury record, would any team really make a serious bid for him over the summer?

BBC summed it up quite nicely. If Sterling is worth £50m, how much is Mane?

£80m?

Just a shame that we only won 4-2. City's defence was worse than the Sunderland defence we put 8 past, and the Villa defence we put 6 past, last year. And Newcastle's defence every time we play them down here.

He's in my list of players I don't want to see at the Euros, alongside Rooney and Milner, but they'll all probably start or be close to it.

I believe he has scored two hattricks this season, but other than that has he scored any many more games? A hot and cold player who hasnt done anything for half a season really.

Not even two hattricks. His other hattrick was at the back end of the last season. Did score two against Liverpool the other week, after coming on at HT. And also chiped in against Everton and Villa in our last two games. But I don't disagree with you in any way. Absolutely a hot and cold player. The 10 game awful run we went on during November and December (which has ultimately cost us top four football) was largely down to him being awful for those 10 games.

In reality he's not worth anything close to £50m, let alone £80m. But equally, in reality Sterling isn't worth anything close to £50m either.

Whatever happens they've ruined it for future bets at the bookies. No way will anyone offer odds of 5000/1 for even the most rank outsider. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but I wish I had put a couple of quid on each of the long shots in the hope of a shock. Win or runners-up Leicester have shown the PL is not a closed shop among 5 or 6 teams.
