And hasn't Ozil completely disappeared in the last couple of months?

The real news in this post that I am learning is Mesut Ozil is no longer a Premier League player.... when did he leave because he was way out in front of the assist charts?

(And yes, this widely Tweeted stat is very very wrong.... Ozil can break the all time record, so Milner is nowhere near him).

Just 2016 though. Ozil has most this season, I think?

Assists themselves dont really mean anything anyway. Chances created is a more meaningful assessment, because discrediting a players creation on the basis that the striker doesnt hit the back of the net doesnt really show much.

Ozil's clear chances created stats are brain melting stuff. I think he has double most top players in the league.

People say he goes off the ball, but the stats are if anything damning of how many chances Arsenal waste.

It means hes had a good 2016 and has played an important role in Liverpools form.

Credit should be given, Milners playing well in a Liverpool team that is playing well.

As I rate Milner so highly I cannot possibly say that he's only playing well because Liverpool are playing well!

Joe Allen seems to have lifted his game in recent weeks.....maybe it's the beard and long hair which has caused the upturn.

If only someone could get Adebayor to sign one week contracts for the rest of his career, Messi's goal scoring records would be in danger.
