Its the times you lose and you have 25% possession you worry. Long way to go, and as I said before, I expect every team in the league to go through a similar space of form.

And, if its any consolation, I still expect Brentford or Ipswich to drop a little form

I'm not overly concerned we were bound to have a dip in form some time, and if we are to make the play offs or better hopefully it will be on the back of a decent run when we can take a bit of confidence into them.

I remember 2 years ago during our promotion year we lost five games in a row around this time of the season then immediately won nine in a row to clinch promotion. Still well in the mix and all to play for, and a fairly fit squad of players.

I don't know if its right, or cant remember the exact statistics, but they did say when Derby lost the playoff final last year that there is very little evidence to suggest that form or final points scored/position has any baring on who wins the playoffs through history. Comes down to how well you play teams on the day, and who has the most mental and physical strength left after a 50 plus game season.

The games often come so thick and fast that a couple of losses can be hard to address, or good form can last a few games longer because you are playing midweek and weekend.

Id like to see Bournemouth win the playoffs and go up, it would be a little victory and inspiring for many teams at the lower end.... what can be achieved with good management, having to sell top players, a small stadium and a budget that is lower than some monstrous teams that drop down from the Premier League.

In fact, on the last note, with the Premier League money nowadays I have no idea how Cardiff and Fulham are struggling so bad, and in previous years how Wigan are now in essence a de facto League One team

Perhaps our recent dip in form is down to the massive premier league tv deal recently announced starting in the 2016/17 season. As a result we have decided to now consolidate this season, and make the big push next!!

Yes, there were with Luton the beneficiaries. Still got a Luton scarf in my drawer at home from my days going to Kenilworth Road in the mid eighties.

Very similar at the top of the Championship with Watford making the big move while the rest slipped up. Also got a Watford scarf in my drawer at home from my days of going to Vicarage Road in the mid eighties.

A lot of work to do but plenty of games left.

If Bird keeps scoring Jeff Stelling might be brining out a new tune on Soccer Saturday -

Luton and Watford? There's a little rivalry between them two.

Wycombe's home form has been woeful of late. In fact, a draw wasn't a bad result.

Norwich up to third after defeating Ipswich. Still tight at the top.

I vaguely a remember a stat from last season that over the history of the Division One/Championship play-offs, 3rd place has had the most success in winning the play-offs, followed by 5th place, then 6th place and then finally 4th place - but that ultimately there wasn't too much in between any of them.

If you get into the play-offs, you have a chance of promotion. Simple as that.

Norwich on a great run, 6 wins in a row. I guess Grabban will no longer be regretting his switch, back in the starting line up and scoring goals as well.

Another heavy midweek fixture list.

Wycombe are away to struggling Tranmere. Three points and a Bury - Luton draw would be a good night.
