Suarez carried Liverpool, just like Bale carried Spurs.

You can replace good players (with the correct scouting etc), as we are showing this season. But you cannot replace world class players, true game changing players.

If City beat United tomorrow and Spurs beat Villa then the saint will be

8 points ahead of Liverpool and Spurs
9 points ahead of United and Everton

After 10 games thats pretty good as those are the teams expected to fight it out for 4th. The Saints still have to play a few big teams but a nice place to be at present.

Maybe at the end of this season, Liverpool might do well to buy the Saints scouting team as opposed to their playing team?

If you mean the five league games at the start which Suarez was banned for, well they lost at home to us and drew away to Swansea during those five games. The three wins were Stoke, Villa and a David Moyes Man Utd.

It's getting to the stage now where people need to stop talking about our 'kind' set of fixtures (this isn't aimed at you by the way).

Ten games is half the league. Half! And we still haven't played Leicester, Villa, Palace and Burnley yet!!

Very few teams will go away to West Ham, Swansea and Hull this season and come away with nine points and just one goal conceded.
