Going for a Utd win today. Costa and Remy missing may sway it.

Di Maria dived to get Ivanovic sent off and then United score the FK.

Yep, he injured himself in training this week and was struggling to make the game.

United starting to turn it around. A good point for them and with liverpool and Spurs not wanting to contest 4th United might just well be back in the top 4 by the end of the season

Missed most of the game. I heard it was a fair result, even with a dodgy reffing decision for the Utd goal.

I didn't see any of it either, i heard Chelsea were in pretty much total control from when they scored and Man U had few opportunities bar the goal. Not a dissimilar start to Moyes' last season but I guess Van Gaal will be given alot more time to turn things around as its Van Gaal plus Moyes inherited a premier league winning side and Van Gaal has inherited a side that finished 7th.

Chelsea were clearly a class above United and had it not been for the double penalty shout which under rule 34-32A "if two players are rugby tackled in the penalty box at the same time and the Ref sees this occur he must cancel out any penalty due to the fact that he really can't believe what he's seeing" :facepalm

All fairness United were awesome for the first 25 minutes of the first half, but then ran out of steam. I definitely saw some promising signs for the future for the fist time in 3 or 4 years.

In all seriousness, the referee did cost Chelsea two points today.

Man United were better today than recent games, but clearly the moments of quality came from Chelsea. Ivanovic's red card was senseless....... I would say its just a mistake, but Old Trafford, Man United, Away teams, big games?

Seems another on the long list of utterly unjustifiable refereeing decisions.
