I thought it was a good interview. His CB made two mistakes for their two goals, so there will be questions regarding buying defensive cover.

for the last 3 or 4 years arsenal have had basically the same problems , and he has done very little to address them , hes went into a premiership season with a squad that only had 6 defenders , you wouldn't pick a 23 man squad for a world cup lasting a few weeks with only 6 defenders let alone a full season

its only mid October and the title is already gone for them and even making the top four isn't going to be easy

I've never understood why Arsenal and their fans are happy to put up with this.

They seem happy just to reach the Champions League each season but not the PL title.

Quite a few of my friends are gooners. They've been critical for a couple of years now. They appreciate that Wenger's done well in finishing fourth on a limited budget, but now he has started to spend, they should be getting closer to the top two. I can see City, Chelsea, and Utd getting the top three places this season, which leaves one place. Good job for Arsenal, that Liverpool and Spurs have slipped a little.

Too true, plus diabolical defending at times but alot of fast paced cracking entertainment.

She was clearly on the wind up and looking for a reaction, and was totally unprofessional and made herself look stupid.

He answered her question very well... he complimented Hull for defending well, said after they scored 2 they sat back, and that unfortunately sometimes football games dont go to the side that shows the most ambition. He said they havent defended well this season, and was pretty honest.

Her follow up question was moronic and demonstrated either she hadnt listened, understood, or was simply trying to turn the interview into some jeremy kyle show style nonsense.

She is a women? So what? If this is the extent of her skills then she shouldnt be working as a sports journalist.

Gary saying all this and that about Wenger?? I thought he was perfectly normal until her arrogance came to the fore.

You're not wrong.

Liverpool's Ronnie Rosenthal's miss is perhaps the worst one I've seen.

I see that Vito Mannone has come out and said the Sunderland players should pay for Sunderland fans to be reimbursed their travel and ticket costs. Not sure what I think of that, it would be a nice gesture from the players after Saturday, but its not a precedent that is sensible.

Especially if they get tonked by a similar score again this season.

It was one of those freak scorelines that happens every so often. They should just put it behind them and move on.

According to the BBC, it would cost them approx 450k. Even some of the Sunderland fans agree it sets a bad precedent and would rather see wages donated to their foundation ( or another charity ) which would be a better option.
