I hope Ashley Barnes gets a long ban, and I totally agree with Matic's reaction from yesterday..... he could have had his season or career ended by that, so losing his temper and pushing him over was understandable in the heat of the moment.

Terrible refereeing not to send Barnes off, if that isnt a red card, what is?

I am sure the English press will ignore that, and the headlines will be about another Kane goal that he scored...... the fact it wasnt a penalty, and the penalty itself was pants, will be ignored.

Pen for me, albeit a soft one, Kane was clearing waiting to be touched, and Song stupidly obliged.

Could the ref see it? It looked like he was behind Barnes.

He booked him, so he must have.... thinking about it though, can the FA do anything if the referee saw the incident?

I didn't think he got booked? Could be wrong. I don't think they can. Barnes's first challenge wasn't nice either.

I don't blame Matic for his reaction, and I think alot of people would of done the same thing. However, had he of stayed down, I think the ref would of probably sent Barnes off, but Matic gave the ref no chance to think about the challenge nor consult the linesman and the "tackle" soon became an afterthought.

Pretty sure he did get booked, but not sure if the ref booked him for the melee that ensued.

Well good, at least he can get punished for it.

The FA should be dishing out a 10 game ban.... if biting someone is 10 games, then surely a potential career wrecking challenge is also deserving of such? It was realy cowardly from Barnes, he knew what he was doing.

And to be fair, the bloke has history, he was nasty when he was at us.

Don't think the FA can do anything, because the ref saw the incident and awarded the FK to Chelsea

The ref was probably scared he would get kicked by Barnes
