Agree. I think this squad is starting to come together and gel as a unit. However they are still lacking quality at the back and that needs addressing in January. Before the game I expected a win for Chelsea so Utd can count this as a moral victory.

I think Rooney coming back in will help. Mata hasn't taken his opportunity in the last 3 games.

If we're playing one up top then Falcao over RVP for me. RVP looks a bit past it. He had opportunities that he would have buried at his peak and United would have won.

Promising signs though imo.

Only 31, and still has a touch of class, but not as mobile as he once was. Falcao offers movement at least.

Tom Ince turned down a move to Milan as he wanted to play PL football. He joined Hull City!

Today he has been loaned out to Nottingham Forest.

We only have Inces word for it that he turned them down.

It was also Inter that he had talks with, not Milan.

for a fixture that was getting all the pre-match hype about the number of goals scored in previous meetings that was a pretty miserable first half
