I only saw a bit of the game, but the two Belgium goals were sumptuous

De Bruyne's touch and pass for the first was out of this world.

Belgium were lucky mind. Denmark played the first half like madmen and should have probably been 2/3 up at half time. After he brought on the big guns it changed, but Denmark still wrapped the bar.

Can't buy much luck atm Denmark. Play like that v the rank 1 team in the world 9/10 you at least take something away

The big UK battle tonight. IMO this could be harder than the Croatia game. Hopefully not and we'll win 5-0 but doubtful.

Its the oldest rivalry in football, so I expect nothing less than Scotland playing out of their skin for 90 minutes. Just got to remain patient, ride the wave for the first half and dont get sucker punched, and when they tire themselves out go for the kill.

Scotland looks absolutely terrible v Czech Republic though. Robertson was the only attacking threat that did anything, and he is a left back.... but there is the danger for England. The amount of PL assists he gets whipping in balls from the left, you can easily see him getting at least a feew opportunities to put a good ball in.

before the tournament started I thought that Croatia would beat England who would then go into this game under loads of pressure, with the whole of Scotland willing their boys on to turn over the bastardbastard Englishmen.... England, of course tend to wilt under that kind of pressure, so I was fearful

However, that didn't happen. England outplayed Croatia and Scotland got a kicking. Passion and a desire to turn over the team they hate the most will only get a poor team so far, so I think England will win reasonably comfortably even if Scotland throw everything they have at them

Took a while, but Sweden finally look like they want to score a goal. Great save from the Newcastle lad to keep Slovakia on parity

Czechia and Croatia draw 1-1.

James at RB looks like a better bet than Walker. Scotland's main threat should be coming from the left and having our best right sided defender in, is a good decision.

This has been a rubbish half. Southgate has about 5 CBS and everytime England work the ball into the final third, no option but to whack it aerially.

He's so rubbish. Haul off one of the endless CBS, this Scotland team are terrible. Why are we setup like we are protecting a 1-0 lead away to Brazil 1970?

Not sure why it wasn't reviewed but I doubt it was enough to overturn?
