RVP hat-trick.

I didn't think Man U would win this tie (and they still might not) but they have shown signs so far of the team that play the Fergie way.

Man Utd through. Have to hope we get Dortmund in the next round, got very little to no chance against the other 6 teams.

Another unconvincing performance, but it was the result that mattered, and two English clubs through to the last eight thankfully.

Man U are the 20/1 outsiders to win the CL and on current form it's hard to argue with that.

Who will Utd prefer to meet in the QF's? All remaining teams look at least very good.

A good draw for the viewers could be:

Chelsea - Madrid
Utd - Dortmund
Barcelona - PSG
Bayern - Atletico

Dortmund or Chelsea i would say. At least Chelsea v Man U will guarantee one English club in semis.

True. Jose against Madrid sounds lip licking though.

I think Man United will want Dortmund, as apart from themselves, Dortmund are the weakest team left in the competition.

I keep hearing Dortmund aren't that good. Must admit, I haven't seen them play since last season, but they were ok then.

Totally agree, can just imagine the mind games he would be playing in the run up to those games.

They are ok but they find themselves a weaker team in a stonkingly strong last eight.

The German league is in noway as strong as people make out, the team who has spent most of the year second (Leverkusen) has conceded more than 6 in the champions league twice, and since Dortmund lost Gotze they have not had the same attacking consistency.

Bayern obviously are having a immense season, but the lack of real competition could kill them in the champions league, as they aren't use to teams of quality playing them.....

Utd thrashed Leverkusen so you might be right, sussex.

Madrid look the best team for me. Plenty of pace, and goals. Nice to see an British player do well abroad as well.
