poor decision to book aguero for diving as he was clearly brought down

very lucky for the monaco keeper there as he just got the faintest touch on the ball, that could have been a sending off and a penalty

Guardiola was out thought by the Monaco manager. The strikers prevented his team from playing from the back. Mbappe makes it 2-1. That was just a matter of time. The fragile Manchester City defence were under constant pressure.

when i saw the side man city have out tonight i thought they might struggle in the middle of the park, they've only really got toure in there with the other 4 midfielders all being very attack minded and monaco have really exploited the space they are getting in front of the city back four

Also doesn't help having Fernandinho at left back and then having Stones to protect Caballero.

Unable to watch the game. The stats show the Monoco has had a lot of chances.

Hows it looking live, Monoco the better team?

another poor decision by the ref to give that penalty and if falcao had scored that could have been the end for man city

Looks that way to me. The Monaco manager told both strikers to stand alongside the Manchester City defenders whenever caballero had the ball. Caballero still tried to play the ball from the back but that just meant that a lot of the time Monaco won the ball back.

I am one of those who think Guardiola is over rated.

Falcao missed a penalty. The home team get a lifeline.
