Sort that out and Utd will be a force again.

Not really, it was the whole team...they lost 2-1 not 5-4

The goals came from nothing, and for the second the defending was abysmal.

I agree, but it wasn't a great Swansea team, and United only scored once, so saying "sort the defence and they'll be a force" is incorrect, they need to get rid of waste of space attacking options like Young and Nani.

No one actually knows what Woodward is up to tbh so I wouldn't look into this Di Maria rumour too much.

It is quite clear Van Gaal wants defenders given how much we were linked with Vermaelen and Hummels, then Rojo now. And he has said as much in many press conferences.

Looks like Rojo is staying put, he has publicly apologized and back in training.

As bad as this Man Utd squad is, it's important to remember that 4 or 5 regulars were missing from that match: RVP, Evans, Shaw, Valencia, Carrick.

Biggest miss is actually Welbeck, no pace in this United side, its just slow.

Thing is he's never going to start unless he develops into a wing-back or a striker is injured.

Nah Welbeck will play a lot at striker this season imo. Especially if the build up is as slow as against Swansea and 3-5-2 is the preferred formation.

So RVP will be dropped then?

Just maybe United dont have as much money as they claim for transfers? Hence why they are haggling for every penny?
