I was watching Mount earlier in the year (must have been WC qualifiers or something) and he looked the real deal, tbh. Then I watched the warm ups and Grealish looked the real deal then I watched the first half last night and Sako looked a real handful. Perhaps if SG wasn't so hell bent on having 2 defensive mids then there might be room to solve some of these selection problems.

Anyway it's all moot.... At the start of the tournament SG said that he knew 10 of his starting XI (and presumably the one he didn't know was either Maguire's replacement or Henderson's replacement), so I presume you take the starting XI from the Croatia game, swap Maguire for MIngs and Henderson for Phillips and there you'll have it

if he does all that, and I'm as sure as I can be that he will, then we're screwed on Tuesday unless we get lucky with a pen or a sending off. And even if that happens and we concede a goal then we're screwed anyway, because England playing like they have don't have 2 goals in them and we'll go out on penalties

I'd like to know why the goal posts are 2 foot thick at the end England are attacking in the first half.... that's something Wembley could sort out straightaway

I've just noticed that Denmark progress with 3 points, Russia go out with 3 points, Ukraine will squeak through with 3 points and Finland are nervously watching the results in group F with 3 points and little hope

Denmark clearly turned things around in their final game

Croatia will be cursing that late goal for Sweden

All the non qualifying teams finishing on 3 points will be cursing the main draw for not putting them in the same group as North Macedonia
