Is there any scope for a fan led takeover bid? It would be a massive shame to see a prudent club slip down the league pyramid.

A few supporters from other clubs will be surprised to learn that we complied with FFP last season!

I would not have expected Bournemouth to spend beyond their means, it wasn't all that long ago they were struggling on and off the pitch in League Two.

Having been through our fair share of dodgy ownerships, unscrupulous chairmen, points deductions, transfer embargoes and almost relegated to the Conference, I can empathise with what Hartlepool are going through right now. Supporters have to try and stay positive and hope things will turn around in the not too distant future. I remember the days of the buckets going round and supporters chipping in their hard earned to try and keep the club afloat.

Things are actually gathering pace. The word is our former boss Chris Turner is part of this consortium. He tried to take the club over unsuccessfully a few years ago.

There is an expected announcement soon - new owners and a new boss (Ronnie Moore).
