Netherlands superb but don't think we've actually learnt that much about them tonight. Still very reliant on the main 4 of RVP, Robben, Blind, Sneijder.

And peaking very early.

This is a tough group for the top 3, Spain not out of it, but you have to think they have taken a hiding here, tough to come back from. But next game thier keeping will be much better.

If David Silva takes that simple chance, Spain win.

Not to take anything away from Holland, but Spain being diabolical is the story from this game.

Quite simply, Spain don't like it up and at em.
"Stats are there to be broken" Dominic Cork
"They took all our players away, banned our captain and we still came away with a ten-wicket victory" Jason Gillespie
"You won't get anywhere slouching about half out of bed" Geoffrey Boycott

Torres's dive in an attempt to win a penalty was pathetic....
:lmaoagain
As we can see, Spain's defeat at the hands of Brazil in the Confederations Cup was not a one-off, and was a sign of things to come.

Congrats to Holland on an outstanding win....
:clap
The old men of Spain can't play their game in the heat of Brazil - simple!

The team that wins this World Cup will have invested in youth....
Nobody has a stance quite like the mighty Shivnarine....

Not sure what time to go to bed tonight, I expect cars parading the streets honking their horns as if this was a final.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Except it wasn't a dive, there was contact just AFTER the ball had gone out for a GK, hence the goal-kick given and more importantly, NO Yellow card.

I'm looking forward to it, I wouldn't be shocked if Aus win, saying that, after what I just saw, them winning 45-7 wouldn't be the biggest surprise of the night.
