"I never knew Suarez refused to shake Evra's hand," Dalglish said. "I wasn't there, I never saw it. It's contrary to what I've been told."

You can't be serious Kenny. There are no words worth writing to describe Liverpoos behavior.

Unless you have been on the other end of racism or particularly if you are black you will never understand what Ferdinand and Evra are going through. Kenny Dalglish and Liverpool in general have really shocked me over the handling of this and the Refs handling of the situation particularly dragging Evra away leaves me speechless.

Ferguson is spot on in saying Suarez should never play for Liverpool again and Dalglish needs to wake up and smell the roses and realise that in years to come this will be something he has left behind in his legacy. The massage you are sending Dalglish is that you are a racist by supporting one.

i know why you say that about dalglish TWT but he really isn't

hes just so bloody stubborn that he will never publicly admit hes wrong or that one of his players was

i think he could have handled it better but you cant ask a leopard to change its spots, and yes i am a huge fan of the man and all hes accomplished in the game so might be biased

You are most likely right Rich it just gets my wind up on such an important subject. If his mum is still around she needs to have a word in his ear.

I loved him as a player, but as you say his stubbornness and particularly Suarez is bringing him down. I don't even think Suarez is that good a player IMHO and they should consider off loading him in the summer.

The problem is Dalglish is digging a very big hole for himself that he wont be able to climb out of. I've no problem with a manager defending one of his players over a bad tackle. Defending someone who has been found guilty of making racist comments is a different matter. It's not just the post match interview, it;s other incidents like the T-shirts.

Dalglish and Liverpool have handled this badly from start to finish. They should have kept quiet before the hearing and accepted the punishment afterwards. They should have came out and said that Suarez was wrong for his actions and moved on.

Daliglish might not have seen it but he can't say he didn't know anything about it. He knew what went on and he should have handled the interview better.

tbf to Dalglish

his job means he sometimes has to defend the indefensible. Not seeing it, helps, I think. Of course, if he hadn't been so vocal over the last few weeks, he wouldn't look like such a tw@t now

That's pretty accurate.

Liverpool as a club have been an absolute disgrace throughtout this issue so perhaps we should not be surprised. It's unbelievable how many Liverpool fans are still lining up to defend Suarez with al this rubbish about it being ok in Uruguay.

I think Evra was quite restrained at the end in that he didn't say anything - if that had been me I would have done more than celebrate in his vicinity, I would have given his some serious verbals as I went past.

I have several friends on Facebook who are neither United nor Liverpool fans, and all of them have been saying how badly Liverpool have handled the entire thing. It's almost as though the only people coming down on the side of Suarez and Liverpool fans and racists. Gone from being a generally quite-widely respected club to being probably the most hated in the space of about 6 months, that's quite an achievement.

What I find the most interesting thing is the reaction of the fans.Normal folks in these situations would put aside their support of their club and you would think they would not stand for this behavior. Not so in this case and it shows just retarded society is over racism. I don't mean the blogging on here by the way, but on BBC sport and the responses to Phil Mcnulties article.

I have never been so happy to see Suarez and Liverpool get beaten....
:no
Any day Man Utd behave the way Liverpool did over this incident, I will find a new football club to support.
Nobody has a stance quite like the mighty Shivnarine....

Agree with all of that. Dalglish is becoming an absolute plank and you realise how bad things are with Liverpool when the ABUs are posting on Twitter that they are glad United won.
