1-1, great finish from RvP

David Silva, took a long look at yourself.

He's not a put your foot through the ball type of player.

Hes cost his team badly though, Holland wouldn't of scored, I genuinely don't rate him, how he gets in ahead of Fabregas baffles me.

Brazil's penalty was more of a penalty than Spain's....Diego Costa was clearly looking for that, and conned the referee. Costa did a good job of finding the diving Dutch defender with his foot to claim the penalty.

After listening to the incisive observations of Clarke Carlisle, I now have to listen to the inane utterances of Mark Lawrenson....
Funny how RVP is fit now that Holland are playing in the World Cup....
:halo:
Diego Costa should've been red-carded for that headbutt on Martins...like Neymar, he's lucky the ref didn't see it.
Nobody has a stance quite like the mighty Shivnarine....

I must admit the slow mo made it look less of a penalty than it did in real time, but slow mo's can be misleading on occasion.

Mark Lawrenson has to be one of the most irritating assistant commentators there has ever been. I pity the poor commentator sat next to the idiot.

Massive hole at the back, but well taken. Spain lost their first game at the last world cup, so no need to worry. Except they have Chile to play yet.

Did Pique really think Robben was going to go onto his right foot? Atrocious defending.

Diego Costa has been awful since the penalty, get Villa or Torres or Fabregas or ANYONE on.

Not watching the game but I know Holland scored because I heard an enormous cheer from a street away through my open window. Hope they do well or there will be a lot of long faces tomorrow.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.
