The owner of Valencia also has a stake in Salford City FC.

I wonder if that will affect their relationship.

El Classico tonight, not going to have much effect on the title as Barcelona are well clear, but Madrid are going to want to get something out of a poor League season thus far and some revenge for their humiliation in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.

Real Madrid win the Clasico. Not that it matters.

Ronaldo bags the winner in the El Classico after Ramos is sent off for about the 245th time in his career. Bale had a perfectly good header ruled out about five minutes earlier. Is the title race back on, probably not, but Atletico will be pleased with the result.

Atletico will be more pleased that Barca look exhausted ahead of the big game on Tuesday.

Barca lose for the 4th season in a row at Real Sociedad.

The title race is back on. Barca lead Atletico by 3 points, Real Madrid by 4.

According to SSN, Messi has now gone 362 minutes without scoring for Barcelona.

I didn't realise that. Effectively 4 games though so only a big thing to someone like Messi who seems to score at least three times each game.

Still on 499 career goals.

Barcelona have just gone 1-0 down at home to Valencia. The two Madrid sides have already won this weekend.
