I hope that they are investigated by the EU for state aid. It seems their rent when all the bills are included will be almost rent free. West Ham are claiming this is not the case, but if so, why can we the tax payer not see the whole contract?

I really hope this gets followed up and those responsible are held accountable. And that West Ham are made to pay a fair share for this.

doesn't make good reading imo

the owners saying they made a multi-million pound investment to make the deal happen , yeah £15M out of a total of £270M, really generous of them considering how much a brand new stadium would have cost them

De Gea won't play tomorrow. Guess he's leaving then.

Should please a few Spurs supporters.

Seems strange as he started the last 2 games for United.

So who will be in goal.

Must be Romero.

You would think so but quite a few are saying it will be Johnstone who's played in pre-season.

Van Gaal says he's looking to make 2 more signings. A forward (obviously Pedro) and a goalkeeper. No CB then... :hmmm

Seems strange, with no De gea(possibly) i would say United look weaker at the back. Now he has to try and fit all these signings into one team.

Tough ask, the season starts tomorrow, he knows this i hope.

surprised to see pellegrini being given a contract extension

thought he must already be vulnerable after last year, especially just how poor they have been in the champions league, and another similar year would see him gone. now means he will get a bigger payoff if that happens.
