Real versus Athletico or Barcelona is pretty mouthwatering too considering the rivalry in both those fixtures.

Mourinho would sell his mother for that, but the chances are.... we, as close to zero as possible.

Id love to see United to do it (and not because someone on the betting exchange gave me 16/1 odds that I couldn't resist!!)

Must admit I find the odds a little tempting. Might have a flutter on this,

The fact that both managers will be going to former clubs will give is some extra edge.

Good point, I forgot about Ancelotti being Chelsea's manager about five managers ago.

Game over. Thought Utd might sneak it on away goals, but not now.

Bayern win as expected while Atletico make the semi's for the first time in 40 years. Simeone's working a miracle there.

Yes, that Simeone. Obviously his playing style wasn't everyone's cup of tea but nearly everyone loves him as a manager. He's somehow turned a mid-table side into leaders of La Liga and Champions League semi-finalists in 2.5 years.

I suppose some of his playing style creeps into the way he acts on the touchline - over the top, not afraid to voice his opinion, animated, passionate. Even if people don't like him as a person, you can't fault the job he's done at Atletico.
