We should give up World Cups. We haven't been very good at them for the last 40 odd years.

It was quite good actually....

Nigeria played well, but Bosnia can consider themselves unlucky in having a perfectly good goal ruled offside.

Finally, a goal...the Norwich man puts Holland ahead.

This match is like waiting for a bus...you wait forever for a goal, and then two come along at once.

Roy Hodgson confirms #ENG line-up v #CRC tmrw: Foster; Jones, Cahill, Smalling, Shaw; Milner, Lampard, Wilshere; Barkley, Lallana; Sturridge

Hmm... impressive. Giving the bench strength a game. Not too sure why you'd go back to Lampard though.

Because he will retire from Int. football after the tournament.

But fair to say Roy has more backbone than his cricketing counterparts.

Makes no sense to give "farewell" games. Should be building for the future.

Gerrard with him, hopefully. Both players have had good England careers, but time to stop.

That explains Ox's omission. Was really surprised that he didn't get a go in a "Dead Rubber".

Bit odd to see Foster getting the nod over Forster. Roy just getting confused with the names? ;) or Forster being penalised for not playing in the EPL?

He's already played twice, and Lampard is needed for his experience/leadership
