All feels dodgy as hell. Roman was banged in the same Cyprus financial leaks of evading tax on things, and the only details to come out are from the leaks we know about. If you really believe a person using dodgy offshore accounting to subvert internatonal sanctions imposed by the war in Ukraine was making payments of millions of quid just randomly off the books, and not in any way to cheat the system, you are a moron. Why on Earth would Chelsea pay a person 10 million quid who was not an agent of a manager? Why put payments for transfers off the books? Why loan money to Swindon Town, or buy players for CSKA Moscow? They didn't break FFP ? Yeah yeah. I am sure they didn't, I am sure there isn't other dossiers or offshore accounts being used here that haven't been leaked. A lot of these payments filter to Cyprus, the British Virgin Islands, exchanges of money between investment funds and god knows what else.
