Wonder how the new TV money restructuring in Spain will change this? Seems the league is becoming harder down the league, and Getafe are currently a win in 2 games away from the top 4. Maybe in the future we might see more spanish teams coming through.

wait until they change the Champions league (is it in 2024?) so that it becomes virtually impossible for the rich clubs to not qualify for the KO's

Surely if there was a criteria for the automatic selection, it would be having to have won the champions league at least twice?
