If True, thats a real worry for United considering the state of the team on the pitch.

That must be a "net" transfer spent , surely?

Yes, it was net spend. A stat from Monday Night Football yesterday, as I recall.

And yes, tongue in cheek or not, Fellaini does count.

Bayern Munich midfielder Thomas Muller has told German newspaper Bild that he turned down an "astronomical" offer from Manchester United to stay with the Bundesliga side.

The 24-year-old said: "I was aware that I could earn more by making that transfer.

"The amount that foreign clubs were offering me was astronomical. But Bayern are my club, a change was not an issue for me."

United paying Nanis wages, whilst he plays for Sportin Lisbon.

Sounds like the Rojo transfer is actually worth more than being reported.

United also deny making bids for Muller and Reus. I thought both players would improve Uniteds squad and it would be no bad thing to be linked with them?

They don't like admitting that players turned them down.

That quote has nothing about Man Utd in it.

Never rated him that highly, plus he's an idiot. He'll score a few, but so will Lambert.

Norwich have signed Cameron Jerome on a free from Stoke.... I think they have lost the plot.

The signed 15 million pounds of striker last summer, loaned one out for free who they bought for 9 million last year, don't play the other despite having an excellent record at Celtic and below the Premier League (Gary Hooper would smash this league apart)..... they also have Becchio on the books, a man who averaged 16 goals per year in 5 seasons of Championship football.

They then sign Grabban, Lafferty and Jerome all in the same off season, and all this while Adams says that the highly rated 19 year old Murhpy twins were going to be used, along with Loza, another highly rated 18 year old they have.....

Meanwhile they lose their best two midfielders gaining 14million for them, will probably lose Redmond aswell, and haven't signed anyone to replace them.

Is Adams the new Billy Davies in that he thinks a squad of only strikers will win him promotion??

For £16m it isn't a bad buy, despite me not rating that highly, as in world class.
