Sorry.....I always do that.

Was impressed with Kyle Mayers yesterday. Got 85 in Barbados' total of 148. He went atomic in one over and scored 28 runs!

Barbados then went on to do what very few teams have this year and win after batting first. Jamaica only managed 112 in 20 overs!

The Professor wrote:After his star turn with the bat yesterday, St Lucia's Roston Chase had a decent go with the ball today as his two wickets in two balls helped his team win a severely rain affected day. Barbados were held to 131 before DLS had it's say and St Lucia needed just 47 in 5 overs.

another example of why DLS should have no role to play in T20 cricket. If the first innings hadn't been curtailed before the big last 2 over launch, the target might easily have been much higher and certainly much less of the formality it was.

and again today

In both matches the team batting second (who didn't have their innings curtailed) reached the DLS target with an over to spare... which suggests that whoever is pressing the calculator button needs to knock an over off whatever the calculator says, because DLS is rubbish at T20 and always has been

Kieron Pollard just played one of THE BEST T20 performances I have seen.

At 62-5, the Trinbago Knight Riders needed 87 to win from 44 balls. He faced 28 balls and scored 72; with two fours and NINE sixes.

The stars for me today have been:

Hayden Walsh Jr for his 3-19 for Barbados ...who went on to lose a low scoring thriller

and

Nicholas Pooran for his century in Guyana's first win of the series. It was the first 3 figure score thus far in the CPL

Trinbago are looking very strong. The thing that has impressed me the most is that in every game someone else stands up for them. Today it was Colin Munro whose 65 helped the Knight Riders to 184. In reply Jamaica could only stutter to 165-6. Trinbago have now qualified for the next round.
