Halestorm has the best SR though (minimum 150 runs). But isn't even top run scorer at Notts (Wessels).

good competition this

Glam have 4 NR's

5 NRs out of 7 matches last Friday with one of the 2 to be played reduced to 7 overs a side

more rain delays tonight.. Notts have thrashed their way to 210, yet Leics will doubtless be left something easily attainable like 90 off 7 overs with all 10 wickets in hand

14 NRs so far, with Notts perhaps hoping that this one makes it 15 when they see the calculation....the whole comp has been a thorough nonsense

and FTECB are left hoping that this won't ever happen to their shiny, sparkly city based rubbish... some hope!

it happened in Jun for the CT and it's happening in July and August for this

As soon as a comp is bunched up into a short window it ssipes down.........they haven't got a hope

and there it is... NR number 15

and Notts have probably dodged a bullet there, despite scoring heavily

such is the lottery nature of T20 (durham excepted, of course) that 14 NR's would probably be enough to get you a QF berth

Hail Hales

he might be back opening with Cook soon when the WIndies come over. Different format, I know, but I'm not sure England will be bothered... it's all about demonstrating form and transferable skills

Handy total for Yorks, but lost their way a bit after a very good start. Still, it's a total and the strength is the bowling.

Almost a must win this for Yorkshire, after the recent steep decline in results.

Valuable Roses win for Yorks gives them a fighting chance of qualifying. Good job done by the bowlers, especially Tim.

Whilst Tim Bresnan grabbed the headlines, Matt Parkinson looks one for the future too.

Sussex look far from comfortable in their chases but their bowlers are doing the job for them for the time being.
"It has been said of the unseen army of the dead, on their everlasting march, that when they are passing a rural cricket ground the Englishman falls out of the ranks for a moment to look over the gate and smile."
