He has had plenty of knocks on tv this season and failed in every one.

Can't work out why Yorks haven't opened with Maxwell and Finch and targeted the first 6, especially without Faulkner bowling

Maxwell flunks again, Yorks no chance now.

If Yorkshire were to chase 230 odd, it needed one of Maxwell or Bairstow to be at the end. I thought Maxwell at 3 was too high, should have put Bresnan there. Quick 25 off 12 balls and he's done the job.

Yorkshire managing to let Durham off the hook before Jonny Bairstow, Jack Leaning and Tim Bresnan helped chase down 191 for the White Rose with 7 balls to spare.

Luke Wright is a machine this season. Good luck to whichever North group side has to face him in the QFs. (Although we managed to get him early, thanks to a Will Smith stunning catch).

Brendan McMullan has been something of a flop for Warks, a big record breaking 158 but three disappointing games totaling 39 runs.

I'd imagine his signing was as much to do with taking at the gate as runs scored.

So much for the Finch-Maxwell dreamteam. Today's defeat for Yorkshire (against Derby!!), coupled with Northants' win, looks to almost certainly have knocked them out.

If they win all three of their remaining games, then they will have a slim chance of finishing 4th - especially given that those games include Northants and Worcs - but they'll still need other results to go their way.

Realistically I'd suggest that the north group will be Warks, Worcs, Northants and one of Lancs and Notts.
