Raining at Old Trafford just after a triple wicket maiden from Jordan Clark put Lancs ahead on D/L.

It'll be interesting which of those three wickets put Lancs ahead. If it was the last of them, then that is criminal from David Lloyd given that his wicket came off the final ball of the over. It must have already been raining prior to that wicket going down, for them to come off there and then.

But maybe it was the 1st or 2nd wicket in the over which put them behind, and Lloyd was trying to catch back up somewhat?

I think it was one of the first 2 because I think the Sky graphic showed Glam 5 down & the commentators said they were now behind on D/L- was only half paying attention though so could be wrong.
Game due to resume at 7.30.

Essex have the batsmen to make 197 look a stroll in the park on this ground but congrats to The Bears for giving themselves a real chance.

Ball changed during the Warwickshire/Birmingham innings because it had been " artificially altered" in the opinion of the umpires. Essex were warned if it happened again penalty runs would have been awarded to Warwickshire who would also have been able to choose the replacement ball.
Umpires didn't know the identity of the guilty party...probably good that Willis isn't commentating!

have to say someone needs to have a very close look at recordo gordons action, i dont think i have seen a seamer who chucks it so blatantly

amazingly the first victory for warwickshire in a t20 quarter final, i knew we had lost a few but that is ridiculous considering we get out of the groups most of the time

the varun chopra/jeetan patel combo wins us another limited overs game

have to say the boundaries at chelmsford are stupidly small, if i was making the rules they would be illegal, its not entertaining watching players get a thick inside edge and it go for six

Surprising win that seems to have upset the SKY commentators. Tremendous performances with both bat and ball.

Could Flintoff return for finals day or has he definitely decided on enough?
