Game either effectively over very quickly or could be a remarkable chase. The former surely by far the most likely.

@stevencotton: Kent's 227-7 is *only* the 4th highest T20 total at Taunton, behind Somerset's 250-3 v Glos (2006), 235-5 v Middx (2011), 228-5 v Glos 2005.

We've scored over 200 at Taunton before and had Somerset chase it down with more than one over to spare. And that was without Gayle.

Only one T20 total higher than this has ever been chased down. 231 - Chris Gayle scored 90 in that match..

We scored 227 and i'm certain we're going to lose this. The power of Gayle.

17 counties are hoping that Somerset lose enough of their non-Gayle matches to mean they fail to progress out of the South group. Or failing that, that Gayle isn't available for Finals Day.

Apparently this is Gayle's 15th t20 100, and his 3rd quickest of those 15.

Clearly not going to get Gayle out so need 6 more wickets.

2 runs and a wicket in the 18th by Claydon. 41 needed off 2 overs. Surely Gayle can't get this...

Kent just need to keep him off strike in the final over.
