It was right though that the Womens World Cup final took precedence.

Not a great selling point for SkyCricket if the match you want to watch is being shown on a channel that you cannot watch!

The game was just surreal full stop

Starts off with Alex Lees hitting Big John Hastings over his head and nearly clearing the Rugby stand, then gets bowled out by a nailed on yorker 2 balls later.
Dave Willey was seeing every thing like a football, even slower ball bouncers got hooked away towards the boundary and took John Hastings apart in a 34 run over to reach his 117.

Worcestershire started off as if they could chase the 234 and were ahead on D/L with rain in the air before Azeem Rafiq got a vital wicket of Cox to put Yorkshire in front.

Adil Rashid bowled an impeccable spell of 20-2 off 4 overs and Steve Patterson bowled a miserly 5 run over with his variations. Worcestershire needing 98 off 5 overs before Ross Whiteley took advantage of Karl Carver being a left handed and a shorter boundary towards the Western Terrace. No matter what Carver did every legitimate ball was in the slot and went for 6.

61 off 4 required, but Patto does what he does best in red ball cricket and stifles the opposition returning figures of 1-8 off 3 overs to restore order.

Seven teams separated by two points (and Notts have a game in hand, and otherwise one point).

our best hope

think the forecast is better for the evening

Hmm. I'm not convinced by all this Durham defeatism. Sounds like the jinx is on.

I'll be amazed if we aren't abysmal.
