There seemed to be a bit of interest in the Women's T20 world cup, so I thought I might try a fantasy league for the inaugural WPL, if there's enough interest. As last time, 6 entries and we have a competition. The comp is in early March, which I assume is to wet the apetite ahead of the IPL


Rules

Pick 11 players. No substitutions are allowed

Scoring

Batting
1pt for every run scored
Players scoring at least 25 runs will receive a 10pt bonus for every 25 runs scored
Players scoring at least 15 runs will receive a 10pt bonus for a s/r 100-124
Players scoring at least 15 runs will receive a 20pt bonus for a s/r 125-149
Players scoring at least 15 runs will receive a 30pt bonus for a s/r 150+

Bowling
25 pts per wicket plus
5 points bonus for maiden over
10 pt bonus for a 2fer
20 pt bonus for a 4fer
Bowler with an economy rate of <=3.0 (min 2 overs) will receive a 50 point bonus
Bowler with an economy rate of <=4.0 (min 2 overs) will receive a 40 point bonus
Bowler with an economy rate of <=5.0 (min 2 overs) will receive a 30 point bonus
Bowler with an economy rate of <=6.0 (min 2 overs) will receive a 20 point bonus
Bowler with an economy rate of <=7.0 (min 2 overs) will receive a 10 point bonus

Fielding
10 points for each catch taken and stumping.
20 points for sole run out (10 each if shared)
10 pt bonus for being involved in 3 catches/run-outs/stumpings

Starts 4th March, teams to be in before the first toss

As usual, crapinfo has nothing on women's cricket, but as far as I can tell these are the squads for the 5 franchises. Don't take my word for it though

I'm a bit worried that I have too many captains. I wasn't expecting Mooney and Healy to both get captaincies. Sometimes captaincy seems to weigh heavily on batters
