To state the bleeding obvious, a very bowler dominated series. Interestingly Broad comes out on top - despite not grabbing any headlines, he had very consistent performances with 3+ wickets in 4 of the 5 innings he bowled.

That was my plan too. After the first four tests of the summer, pick the lower middle order batsmen, and the spinner vs England.

Suffice it to say the last 3 tests did not play out the same way.
