First attempt at a fantasy league for the Hundred
Scoring is very similar to those for T20 with an adjustment for bowling economies from runs per over to runs per ball and with the 5 pt maiden over bonus replaced with a 1 pt bonus for every dot ball bowled
It is entirely possible that scoring changes may need to be made in the future, but for now these will be used

Rules

Pick 11 players. No substitutes are allowed. No restrictions on who you can pick

Scoring

Batting
1pt for every run scored
Players scoring at least 25 runs will receive a 10pt bonus for every 25 runs scored
Players scoring at least 15 runs will receive a 10pt bonus for a s/r 125-174
Players scoring at least 15 runs will receive a 20pt bonus for a s/r 175-224
Players scoring at least 15 runs will receive a 30pt bonus for a s/r 225+

Bowling
25 pts per wicket plus
1 pt bonus for every dot ball bowled
10 pt bonus for a 2fer
20 pt bonus for a 4fer
(rpb = runs per ball)
Bowler with an economy rate of <= 0.7 rpb (min 10 balls) will receive a 50 point bonus
Bowler with an economy rate of <= 0.8 rpb (min 10 balls) will receive a 40 point bonus
Bowler with an economy rate of <= 1.0 rpb (min 10 balls) will receive a 30 point bonus
Bowler with an economy rate of <= 1.2 rpb (min 10 balls) will receive a 20 point bonus
Bowler with an economy rate of <= 1.4 rpb (min 10 balls) will receive a 10 point bonus

Fielding
10 points for each catch taken and stumping.
20 points for sole run out (10 each if shared)
10 pt bonus for being involved in 3 catches / run-outs / stumpings

Squads

https://www.espncricinfo.com/series/the ... 141/squads

first match begins 3rd August. Teams to be in before the toss.

good luck to everyone taking part.......... and good luck to me, because I have no idea how well this will work

be careful with the squads, btw. crapinfo last updated back in April and there have been some notable withdrawals.... plus there will have been a wildcard pick for each team after the end of the T20 Dribble. I think they can be found on the BBC squad lists, but I've used the crapinfo link because the beeb squads can't be accessed from one link

after watching Jason Roy scratching about in the T20I's, I might replace him. He looks in no form whatsoever

Fans of the FL will note that I've not bothered with a 50 over cup FL......... nobody plays in it, so it seemed a bit pointless really....... well done the ECB

Bairstow is a last minute withdrawal

for some reason that will be unfathomable to the ECB, he thinks test matches are more important

who knew :dunno
