Yes, he's in for the series. I think being able to change would add interest, but some people don't actually check in between games (I think) so it'll work better if the choice is made from the start. Good point though.

If I could be sure everyone would do it, I like the idea of being able to change your star player.

I suppose you could say captains can be changed between tests and if you don't change it then your previous choice remains. Put the responsibility back on the palyers

I'm not sure if I like the idea - it's already a bit of a gamble (what if your captain gets injured?), changing between games could make things quite swingy.

Hmm. True. Which would leave you with 5/6 of a team, counting your captain as two. We often run at worse than that though with injuries. Anyway, maybe it's a one off...

Could just have a vice captain who could be capt if the capt doesn't play. Then we can stick to naming your team for the series up front
