No one thought of it. Cummins is going to be the key to round one.

Thirteen different Aussies and seven English. Mainly down to Mike, because there is quite a narrow consensus otherwise.

Actually good for me as I have Marnus as a sub...

Now all I need is for England to drop Burns : how on earth did I fix on him as my "something different" ?

Maybe he'll take a lot of catches.

Tell me you meant Joe Burns and I'll mark him absent.

for some reason I assumed you meant Joe Burns. I don't know why because he isn't a contender, but I suppose I couldn't imagine anyone picking Rory

These are my numbers:

Cummins...200
Carey...121
Root...119
Warner...114
Robinson...114
Lyon...109
Starc...105
Labuschagne...104
Hazlewood...100
Green...78
Haseeb...62
Pope...49
Smith...32
Stokes...29
Burns...23

Not enough big scorers I don't think for anyone to make a definitive break for glory.

I think everyone at the top end has Cummins.

Durham...557
BFL...545
DD...507
Twins...484
Red...484
GJ...476
Junior...465
Alfie...403
Andy...388
Arthur...384
Mike...271

Red family echo-bubble producing closely matched teams? Going to take the subs to separate Twins and Red. Junior has Haze rather than Root.

Mike has it all to do with only three out of seven featuring in Brisbane. But in these days of Covid restrictions Neser might be skipper by New Year with Khawaja opening the batting..

The DNPs were-

Neser
Khawaja
Swepson
Paine
Anderson
