With the cancellation of the fifth test, looks as though congratulations go to AC, the wooden spoon to andy, a Mars Bar for everyone (because I'm feeling generous).

Hmm. Should I do the scores for the fifth game about to be played, or does this FL stand as-is?

I'm inclined to say it stands, as so much has changed that picks may no longer be valid, but I am happy to do the totting up for interest if people would like.

Depends if I won.

Up to you bfl. But the squad are sunstantially different so it feels like we should have either reselected, or leave it where it is.

Since I have Pant, Jadeja and Anderson, I am sorely tempted, but as I and AC said, I don't think it would be fair to extend this given the squad changes (Or if I was going to, I should have got on to it sooner and allowed some subs).

The result will stand, but I will add up the scores for the fifth test just for everyone's amusement.

Player scores match 5

Pant 283
Root 250
Anderson 184
Bumrah 166
Jadeja 163
Crawley 135
Shami 91
Pujara 89
Kohli 41
Buttler dnp
Robinson dnp
Hameed dnp
Wood dnp
Sibley dnp
Rohit Sharma dnp
Ishant Sharma dnp
Ashwin dnp

Rather a lot of dnps. And a surprisingly high score for Crawley - 5 catches plus some fielding bonus points.

Poster scores match 5

bigfluffylemon 921
Arthur Crabtree 757
sussexpob 730
mikesiva 478
andy 464

Total scores over 5 tests:
Arthur Crabtree 3287
sussexpob 3074
bigfluffylemon 3052
mikesiva 2144
andy 1814

So despite an excellent final test for me, the order would have remained the same anyway if the comp were still live, although I came very close to overhauling sp.

Well played AC.

do either Arthur or Fluffy fancy organising a combined FL for the white ball leg? Last time there was a last minute FL there was an excellent response

Hmm. I'm a red ball specialist. I'll do the SA series.
