so - the third leg of this contest between India and Englandis now imminent and the kid has agreed to keep going with the scoring ... the first ODI is on Tues 23rd March at 8am UK time so please have your teams in by 7am

Feel free to pick 5 players from the two countries (a mix of the two, or 5 from one country - it's up to you), and two reserve players just incase one of the chosen 5 does not play. The first reserve player picked will come into contention first.

Scoring

Batting

1 point for every run scored
A batsman scoring 50 will receive a 20pt bonus, with another 10pts for every further 50 runs scored
(ie. 50 = 20pts, 100 = 30pts, 150 = 40pts, 200+= 50pts)
A batsman scoring at least 20 runs, will receive.....
10 bonus pts for scoring at a strike rate of 80-99
20 bonus pts for scoring at a strike rate of 100-149
30 bonus pts for scoring at a strike rate of 150-199
40 bonus pts for scoring at a strike rate of 200+

Bowling
20pts per wicket
20 bonus pts for a 3fer
30 bonus pts for a 5fer
5 bonus pts per maiden over
A bowler who has bowled at least 3 overs will receive.....
10 bonus pts for an economy rate of <=6.0
20 bonus pts for an economy rate of <=5.0
30 bonus pts for an economy rate of <=4.0
(ie. an ER of 4.25 scores 20pts)

Fielding
10 points per catch or stumping
20 points per run out, or 10 points each, if two players share the responsibility
10 bonus points for 3 contributions with catches, stumpings or run outs.

Yes, the kid mentioned that, if he does it again in the next game that would be some achievement to play 3 gamed and avoid scoring even a single point. However, I would imagine that he's unlikely to play the decider

The kid asked me about that - I assumed you meant Ishant, who wasn't playing, so just told him to go straight to your first sub
