as per the other thread I am using this as an opportunity for RDJ to learn how to use spreadsheets - he has done this one solo - please let me know if you spot any errors ...

he's done a good job

the only mistake I can see is that QDK should have had 60 points

30 points for the 30 runs
10 points for 25 runs or more
10 points for SR above 125
10 points for one catch

other than that it all looks very good

darn...... I was sure I had Malan in my starting 5, but he was first reserve

onto the 2nd leg of the series ... the ODIs - please submit teams before teams are announced on Friday (I think that means teams need to be in by 10am) otherwise your current team will be rolled forward to the ODIs

Feel free to pick 5 players from the two countries (a mix of the two, or 5 from one country - it's up to you), and two reserve players just incase one of the chosen 5 does not play. The first reserve player picked will come into contention first.

Scoring

Batting

1 point for every run scored
A batsman scoring 50 will receive a 20pt bonus, with another 10pts for every further 50 runs scored
(ie. 50 = 20pts, 100 = 30pts, 150 = 40pts, 200+= 50pts)
A batsman scoring at least 20 runs, will receive.....
10 bonus pts for scoring at a strike rate of 80-99
20 bonus pts for scoring at a strike rate of 100-149
30 bonus pts for scoring at a strike rate of 150-199
40 bonus pts for scoring at a strike rate of 200+

Bowling
20pts per wicket
20 bonus pts for a 3fer
30 bonus pts for a 5fer
5 bonus pts per maiden over
A bowler who has bowled at least 3 overs will receive.....
10 bonus pts for an economy rate of <=6.0
20 bonus pts for an economy rate of <=5.0
30 bonus pts for an economy rate of <=4.0
(ie. an ER of 4.25 scores 20pts)

Fielding
10 points per catch or stumping
20 points per run out, or 10 points each, if two players share the responsibility
10 bonus points for 3 contributions with catches, stumpings or run outs.

QDK should have got 27 points including 10 for the SR, and Buttler I get as 107 not 112....... but the boy is doing well
