Might be worth reconsidering Eddie Barlow for Boon. Had similar batting records, though Boony played longer. Barlow could bowl. Boon could field at short leg and drink a lot of beer.

Gentlemen.....until ten tonight tell me if you prefer:

Bailey or Botham

And

Barlow or Boon.

I suspend further suggestions until after 10.

Hard to pick Barlow because his career was so short. Botham v Bailey is a no brainer (even if I think Botham isn't really a great). So my vote is to keep Botham and Boon.

cant not have Botham

even with the fact he probably played on a little longer than he should have and his overall averages suffered as a result you still have a guy that took almost 400 wickets at under 30 and more than 5000 runs at better than 30

Got a lot of sympathy for Bond in how his career was snubbed out by the ICL. To me it's Bishop v Bond for the two potential greats who were ruined by injury. My recollection was that Bish was truly frightening and would have been one of the best WI quicks. I'd stick with him (as long as he doesn't commentate).

When you get to the double u's don't forget Walcott, Weeks and Worrell,
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.
