There are a distinct lack of bowlers in my line-up this round.

hard to imagine how this round could go any worse for me. My bowlers (the ones who've actually had a bowl) have only managed the odd wicket here and there. The batsmen seem intent on only making single figure scores with the exception of Adam Lyth who managed a stunning 19. With the weather likely to play a further part over the remaining 2 days suggests I'm probably in trouble

day 3 follows a similar pattern

1 for ryder
0 for Roderick to go with his 1 from the first innings
not much chance of Kleinveldt bowling again
not much chance of play at CLS

still... runs for Bell and Gregory, but not enough to trouble Red

Porter wickets
Duckett runs
Cox runs
Realisation Roy likely to count...

still... runs for Bell and Gregory, but not enough to trouble Red

interested to see how this one went - a win would partially start to make up for the horrific 'nil point' from week 1 - although it'll take quite a bit to come back from that.

McKay, Groenwald, Norwell, Madsen, Ansari all did ok for me I think. Durston got 3 wickets and about 50 runs and I left him on the bench, and the same with Cosgrove who got 120ish

2 very rotten weeks for me.

if I could get more of my players playing in matches that have more than 1 innings in them I might do a bit better...... I have a team full of very expensive stars who are not taking full advantage of the one chance per match that the weather is allowing them

Matty Coles only bowled 6 overs in the first 7 days of his county season. It's pretty hard to do much with that

are you scoring these ones as well?

I keep track of mine and whoever I'm playing. Helps me to see where I am. Also helps me to moniter the performance of my players over the season. For our match I think I scored around 10 runs per wicket and you scored 22.

Pretty comprehensive victory. Sounds as though Ian might have pulled another one out of the fire, so we'll both be trailing him now

It's difficult to make judgements based on these early games as the weather has played too big a role. Few players have had opportunities to play a full 4 days.

Well indeed. Gameweek 1 I have 4 Sussex players who didnt even get a chance to frigging bat over 4 days!!!
