Depending on whether the website that I previously used for player values runs a game in 2015 or not, the first deadline for bids will probably be either April 5th or 12th.

Having done a bit of research it would appear that the competition where I take the pricing information from is due to go live at the end of this week

However, unless this data is ready by Thursday PM, that will leave very little time for us to have 3 auction rounds and me to run the lottery plus give managers time to finalise squads prior to a first set of fixtures on April 12. Especially as I am away from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning :rasta

That leaves a couple of options:

1. Omit the first week of fixtures but include one of the weeks with only 5 matches.
2. Have 11 teams and include 20 rounds of matches starting April 19th.

Sorry to be vague, but I will update as I have more news...

If anyone has any further ideas, feel free to post them here.

leaving the first round out seems to be the sensible option. how many teams and how many rounds are ideal do you think?

Looks like there are only 6 of us in at the moment, would be good to get 10 and then have 18 matches

10 is ideal with squads of 30. Every team can't field a decent playing XI most weeks, even if there isn't a full set of County fixtures.

Last year we had 2 dummy sides made up from unselected players. One of which did rather well!
