Are the values stated also the minimum bid allowed or can one bid 20,000 for a player listed higher than that.?

Surely you can bid on as many players as you wish but can't buy more than 30.

that is the minimum bid

you can bid higher if you wish, but it must be in multiples of 10,000. you can't bid 75,000 for a player

but could we not leave the budget at £1.5m so that more of the 30 players are actually chosen rather than down to luck in the allocations?
