Honours pretty much even in my match with the Rejects after 2 days. Going to be a good match, this one, I think. Still smarting from having Raine as 12th man. his 6 wickets would have put me in the driving seat. I was sure I'd put him in the XI..... stupid, stupid, stupid!

Philander isn't playing, so it looks as though SP has a 10 man team. A good 10 man team, though but..... even his bottom of the squad pick, Tom (?) Taylor of Derby, has 4 wickets. I probably need Jordan to get a 6fer in the second innings.

Philander has gone back to South Africa, he was only signed for 5 or 6 matches and I think is eventually replaced by Ben Hilfenhaus. Ill have the crooked armed one next match though, much needed. I signed them both on the basis that there wasnt a gap between them arriving and leaving but I think Philander has gone back early.

Taylor is becoming my best acquisition...10k, good lad!! Cachopa scores as many points as the average UK Eurovision entry, so dont worry about him, and Kerrigan has been rubbish so far.

Bowlers have done well, not sure where the runs is coming frrom

my point was that every wicket Jordan takes, is one less that Magoffin and Robinson can take. So far Sussexpob has picked up 13 wickets from those 2 bowlers in the one game.

surprisingly, I think I actually have a slight lead going into tomorrow, but things are very, very tight. Sadly Worcs have declared meaning a) that Mitchell is not going to score any more runs for me and b) that Briggs won't bag me any more wickets (which is a bit of a pi$$er). Magoffin and Robinson can't take many more wickets, because there aren't many more to take, so I'll need Finn and Hogan to start taking some second innings wickets tomorrow (they are wicketless in their respective second innings). The Derbyshire washout is stopping Palladino from taking wickets for me, but also stopping Taylor taking any for Sussexpob. Kerrigan hasn't featured for SP yet. He could prove to be the decisive factor tomorrow, because he will be bowling.

Hogan and FInn yet to register anything today with their opponents 7 down, so it seems my bowlers are winning the wickets battle.... yet Patel and Mitchell are the standout scorers this week, both of which are in DFM's team. I need Kerrigan to make a dent, and Foakes to hopefully get another opportunity.
