Chris'd off :strop

Nash and Rushworth are double-handedly winning my MW17 game versus Boycott's Bashers :!:

276 runs and 15 wickets for the pair so far, against my 375 runs and 7 wickets for my entire (albeit 9-man) team :no

If it cheers you up Ian, I have Stoneman,Jennings,Robson and Eckersley who scored a combined sod all. Coles' 4 wickets have probably beaten me single handedly.

My wife is sleeping off a hangover from more than several cocktails last night, so have had a chance to get this done.

Matchweek 17 update:

So RD retains the title :clap with all other positions to be finalised in the last round of matches :)

Montego Bay :WI

Is quite a lot of work, but much easier than last year now we're using the Google Docs for picking the teams each week. I already have a plan to make those better and more helpful for next year.

The bonus point system will also be altered, as most match winners have accrued 21/22 points so it hasn't been the differential I first thought it would be. I currently favour these being based on team performance rather than margin of victory, but am open to suggestions.

If all 8 of us play next year, then an addition duo bringing us up to 10 would also help :)

I once spent several weeks in the Caribbean, back in my navy days. 1982 to be precise, so it was a while ago. White sands, warm seas, shark sandwiches, mental taxi drivers with funny smelling cigs hanging out of their mouths. Woolworths and British bobbies in Port of Spain, Rasta's and American cops in San Juan. State run brothels in Curacao and Aruba, and people with chickens and goats in the newly built hospital in Dominica. We were supposed to be going to Fort Lauderdale too, but something more important cropped up and got in the way. Still.... the Caribbean is a very cool place to go. I enjoyed it

Well done all.

I think my batting heavy outfit in reality was a bad move, but like DFM says, we live and learn for next time. My team couldn't buy a wicket all year..... at least I didn't finish last.
