Neil McKenzie will play the 2nd half of the season, arrives for T20s and stays until the end. Hope that clears up confusion over him.

Managers will be able to bid for McKenzie (or any other such player) in the auction if they are happy to have him in their 20-man squad, knowing that he will not play any matches until the second half of the season. I will just not allocate him/them in the lottery.

So we have 13 posters who showed an interest in joining me in playing the inaugural season of County Fantasy Manager, of which 2 (BN and BFP) were happy not to take part.

I have ran an excel program to randomly select 9 of the remaining 11, and the unlucky 2 were Dilbert and Shankycricket :no

The line-up for this season will be:

Chris de Burgh
clubcricketeradi
cricketfan90
durham_andy
Englands_No7
ianp1970
ntini77
Red Devil
SaintPowelly
st_brendy

Please can you decide on a team name (a county and something that makes it straight forward to deduce who the manager is) and team kit (2 colours that contrast easily from basic excel, and different to what has already been chosen) and post them on the thread.

My team is going to be Olympian Rutland and my colours are Teal (background) and Turquoise (font)

The deadline for the first round of the auction is going to be 8pm next Tuesday. I will send all players a PM titled "CFM Auction First Round" for you to reply to with your bids.

The valuations listed earlier in the thread are derived from:

https://fantasycricket.telegraph.co.uk/county/players/all

just multiplying the rating by £10,000, so this basis can be used for any additional players that you wish to bid on. The players in the lottery will remain the same as posted by me last Sunday.

If there is a player you want to bid for that is valued at £80,000, do you have to start the bidding at £80k or can you start at something lower, say £10k?

I
was about to post that I'm gonna pull out due to shortage of time but
thankfully, I've not been selected and its only right that those with a
better knowlege of the county game than me are participating. Good luck
with this, fellas! Sounds interesting. I'll be following this closely :thumb

You can bid on as many players as you like up to the £500,000, of which you can spend as much (or as little) as you want to in any of the 4 auction rounds.
